What are the 5 best things to buy at Costco? Keep reading and learn why these are the best things to buy at Costco and buy I always buy these at Costco and not other stores.

  1. Almond Milk- good almond milk is hard to find and making your own is better but can be time consuming and it doesn’t necessarily save money as almonds are expensive. I wrote a blog post about making my own almond milk here. That said Costco has a couple of inexpensive options for almond milk and you will pay less for it at Costco than anywhere else. They have the refrigerated Silk brand with 3 64 oz. containers in a box, or they have a 6 box with 32 oz per box in unsweetened vanilla that is shelf stable. This second option is how I usually buy it, since I don’t have a ton of space in my fridge to store the other kind. Both do have some fillers so making your own is a little healthier but if you want to buy it, then Costco is the place.
  2. Siete Tortillas and Chips- These grain free tortillas and chips have no gluten, dairy, corn or soy and taste amazing. The chips are also made with avocado oil. However, at the regular grocery store they are between 20-50% more expensive unless you find them on a really good sale like the Sprouts Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale. I don’t buy these a ton as they are still more costly than other options but I do like to get them from time to time.
  3. Apple Chicken Sausage- These are really good and while I eat plain chicken more often, when I do want a treat and something different, these hit just the mark. I’ve honestly never bought them anywhere else, but I know they are more expensive elsewhere.
  4. Swimming Suits- I’ve bought some great swimming suits at Costco. I tried this year and they are too small as I’m very tall and need a size tall but in the past they have worked great and if you are shorter than me, they will probably still work for you. I’m 6 feet 2 inches as a female so odds are good you are shorter than me.
  5. Nuts- The price on these can’t be beat at Costco. Note: I’m referring to the raw unsalted ones in the bags, not the ones in the plastic containers in the snack aisle. I buy the almonds, pecans and walnuts. They don’t have cashews at least not unsalted ones at Costco. I buy my cashews at Trader Joes or on Thrive Market.

There are other things I sometimes buy at Costco but these are the things I always buy there. Some things I sometimes buy include: chips, crackers, bars, other snacks, frozen fruit, salmon, chicken, hummus, guacamole and other non food items.
