Introduction

Gluten free gift baskets can be tricky yet also simple at the same time to create. Keep reading to learn about some great ideas for creating gluten free gift baskets. You can use many of the same things I wrote about in my post on Christmas Mug Gift Ideas with some additional possibilities since a basket is much larger.

Basics

Start by deciding what theme and contents you want to include in your gift basket. Are you creating a basket with food? Or do you want to create one without food? Obviously a gluten free gift basket without food will be much easier to keep gluten free, since you only have to make sure that any skin care you include does not contain gluten.  You also need to determine things such as the size, budget, and if you are going to use an actual basket or some other kind of container.

Making the Basket

Some of my favorite things to include are the following:

Gluten free cookies- These are always great and much appreciated. Some of my favorite brands include Enjoy Life, Trader Joe’s Gluten Free cookies and Pamelas.

Gluten free and sugar free chocolates- I really like the Choc Zero chocolates however, Lilly’s is also a good brand.

Fruit- This is always great and of course gluten free. You could even do just a fruit basket or combine it with cookies, chocolate or other items.

Gift cards/certificates- Who doesn’t love these? I would add in some other smaller items.

Bath Bombs- include these with some lotions, essential oils or other items.

Lotions- you could also include some other skin care items, or things like a pedicure or manicure kit, a dry brush, or epsom salts.

Essential Oils– Always great along with other things like a diffuser.

Movie or theater tickets- always great along with some other larger items or even things like popcorn, gluten free crackers and cookies.

Spices- You could also include some gluten free baking mixes and cooking utensils for a gluten free cooking themed gift basket.

Soup mixes- combine with spices, or other mixes or things like a laddle, hot pads etc for a themed basket.

Did this help you? If so, I would greatly appreciate a share on Facebook, twitter, linkedin, or pinterest.
