Are you wanting to get a doterra membership but you are struggling to come up with the money to pay for it? While the actual membership only costs $35, in order for you to really get started using the products, you need to either order products separately or purchase a kit. The kits are usually $150-$300 depending upon the kit you choose. While that still isn’t a lot of money, for some people that can still be hard to come up with. So I thought I would share some unique ideas on how to come up with the money to pay for a Doterra membership.

  1. Find ways to save money on food and other necessities. If you need some ideas, read this blog post.
  2. Get gift cards to pay for essentials, fun and gifts. I like to use swagbucks for this. You get points for trivia, surveys, free trial offers etc.
  3. Get bonuses for opening up banking accounts. Lots of accounts offer these. Currently I’m loving Current Bank. (affiliate link). When you sign up and set up direct deposit, you get a $50 bonus. Then you can also share with others for even more bonuses up to $1000. I’ve also seen offers for Chase, Wells Fargo etc. The challenge is that you usually have minimum deposit requirements so make sure to pay attention to these.
  4. Cash back for grocery shopping. Ibotta-(referral link). This is an app that gets you cash back for buying groceries you would normally buy anyway.
  5. Sign up for fetch rewards. (referral link) This is an app that gets you points for gift cards just for scanning all of your shopping receipts.
  6. Host a class or two or three. Get paid for referrals. You can host these classes in person or online via facebook or zoom. If you can get at least three people to show up, then you can get some credit from me to help you pay for your Doterra membership and kit.
  7. Have a yard or garage sale. If you have enough items to get rid of or can also sell things for neighbors and friends this can work really well. In fact, you will probably make more money than you need.
  8. Figure out what products you can replace with Doterra products. I offer a free consultation to help you figure this out.
  9. Work some temporary events and use the money you earn. These days the demand for this is big. You could also work weekends or evenings for a few months at a restaurant or retail store.
  10. Participate in a paid focus group or two. I find craigslist to be the best place to find these.

Did this help you? If so, I would greatly appreciate a share on Facebook, twitter, linkedin, or pinterest.
