My Experience with NAET Allergy Treatment

Spread the love

Have you ever considered trying Naet allergy treatment? If not, if you have a lot of allergies, you probably should. Keep reading while I share with you my experience with Naet allergy treatment as well as information on what Naet is and how to find a practitioner.

In it’s most simple form, NAET is an acupuncture treatment for allergies. It can work for all kinds of allergies including food allergies, and also environmental allergies. Usually NAET is performed by a chiropractor or an acupuncturist. However, not all of them are trained in NAET since NAET allergy treatment is a specialty. Learn more about my prior experience with acupuncture and allergies.

So how do you find a NAET practitioner? You can try googling NAET and see who does it in your area. Then you can research people and read reviews and then chose one. In my case, my sister had already been seeing this acupuncturist and had some great results so she recommended I go see him.

Why did I decide to try NAET? Well if you have read my post about Why Doctors are Missing the Boat on Allergies: My Story. Then you already have a good idea why I decided to try it. However, the main reasons are these:

  1. I haven’t had great digestion for years and wanted to try it to see if it would help.
  2. As much as I know that going dairy free along with gluten free is best for my health, I really really love cheese and I mean I love it a lot and there isn’t any good dairy cheese on the market. You just can’t take out dairy and make cheese. Yogurt and ice cream however, do exist in great tasting dairy free formats and you can drink nut milk and replace it in baking. Cheese however, no. It just isn’t the same. So I wanted to see if doing NAET allergy treatments would make it so I could at least eat some cheese on occasion.
  3. I’ve had quite a few mystery allergies and or food sensitivities that seem to change a lot and that can be hard to figure out so I wanted to see if NAET would eliminate these.

Here’s what happened after about 3 months of doing NAET once a week:

First, I can now eat some cheese (and other dairy products for that matter) without a major reaction. I still have to be careful as too much and my sinuses do still flare up.

Second, My digestive system is better and I have a lot fewer stomach aches.

Third, I have more energy and see to need fewer naps.

Fourth, It took 3 treatments to try and clear me from gluten however, it still didn’t totally succeed. However, if I were to accidentally get some from cross contamination I should have less of a problem. (This is well documented by the way that while NAET allergy treatment works well for most allergies, gluten is difficult at best and sometimes impossible to really eliminate.) This means that doing NAET does not mean you can purposely still eat gluten. (I know some of you are disappointed by this but really having to be gluten free isn’t the end of the world. Trust me I’ve done it for 5 years now and you can do it too and I can help if you need it.)

As of the writing of this post, I’m still going to do a few more treatments so we will see were this leads me long term but I’m hopeful it was a good investment of time and money.

Oh and in case your wondering how much it costs- it varies by area and acupuncturist but in my case it was $40 per treatment and I did about 12 so far so about $600.
