Metapwr Advantage is a marine collagen created by Doterra that came out as a new product in September 2022. It contains 9 types of marine collagen, comes in an easy to mix powder and has essential oils, Sea Buckhorn, NMN and some other things in it. It tastes great, is sugar free, non gmo and really good for you.
Why I Started Taking the Metapwr Advantage
If you are like me, you have probably tried at least a few different collagen supplements. I know I tried a lot of the bovine collagen powders and others that are readily available at stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts and Costco. Quite frankly I didn’t really notice much of a diference. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they weren’t doing anything, I just didn’t feel it. I had never tried marine collagen though and the idea of a collagen with essential oils and NMN mixed in was a new one. NMN is a supplment that is often used to help with anti-anging and is marketed as being able to help with improving your youthfullness.
I’ve had a history of challenges with my knees and joints and even had a knee surgery in March of 2022. I’ve known for awhile that I needed to take a collagen supplement but struggled to find one that I felt made a difference. Over time as we age our body’s natural collagen supply decreases and so the only way for us to have the collagen levels that we need is to take it as a supplement. I’ve written a few other blog posts about collagen supplements. The reality is that the marketplace is flooded with collagen supplements and they may or may not work for you.
What happened when I started taking Metapwr Advantage
My experience with Metapwr Advantage, was a bit different than most people. I actually noticed a difference the first time I tried it. I felt less tension and discomfort in my knees within about 30 minutes. Most people don’t notice a difference for more like a month. That said, I notice a difference if I don’t take it for 1 day. So while it’s an added expense to my budget, I don’t know how I personally can go without it.
