I bought an infrared lamp as part of a black Friday sale last year. Keep reading to learn about what happened when I bought an infrared lamp and began using it on a regular basis. Infrared lamps have been used for years to help reduce pain and inflammation in various parts of the body. If you use a high quality infrared sauna like I talked about in this post, then the sauna has at least two infrared lamps in it. I bought this infrared lamp from a website called Sauna Space. I’m currently saving up to be able to buy their infrared sauna which has between 4-8 of these lamps in it.
In the meantime I have just the one lamp so I am using it like a mini sauna for various parts of my body. I like to use it at least twice a day and sometimes more often. I especially will hold it up to my neck and thyroid area for 2-5 minutes in an effort to help reduce inflammation and swelling. Since I have hashimotos, I’m swollen in that area and the infrared lamp helps.
I will also use it to help with menstrual pain or any other kind of pain, by shinning it directly on the area that is bothering me for 2-5 minutes. The instructions say not to use it for more than 5 minutes on any one area. It is so hot, that you don’t want to anyway. You can use it with your clothes on, however, with areas like your back or stomach, it works better naked.
I’ve found that any pain or discomfort I have in an area will go away immediately after using it. It really is amazing. Even though it costs about $400 depending on the sale price, it is worth it. I still look forward to being able to afford a full infrared sauna. (They cost about $3,000-$5,000.) In the mean time, having this amazing infrared tool works as a substitute.Did this help you?
