I received both of these products the Citrus Clear organic moisturizer and the Shielo Complexion Moisturizer for free for purposes of reviewing them on this blog. That said, I was quite impressed with both of these products and would certainly be willing to pay for them.
The first one I used was the citrus clear organic moisturizer. This one has a great smell. It smells like vanilla and a little bit of lemon. It also has coconut oil, aloe vera juice, Rose Hip, Lavender, Grape Seed and other good for you ingredients. Both of these moisturizers have only the good stuff. You won’t find any chemicals, mineral oil, SLS, SLES or paragons in these products. Besides the smell I really like the way that both of these feel on my skin and I didn’t have any any reactions or get any rashes which is great since I have sensitive skin that does break out when I use a lot of skin care products including even some organic ones. These moisturizers are also different from many others because you do not wash them off your face after using them. You put them on and it absorbs completely into your skin, without leaving a residue or a feeling of something heavy sticking onto your skin. I used the citrus clear one for about three weeks every day and then switched to the shielo one.
I have to honestly say that I prefer the citrus clear. I’m not sure if its because I love smells and the shielo doesn’t really have a smell or what exactly it is about it, but I do prefer that one. Both moisturizers have aloe vera juice in them however, this second one has almond oil and green tea instead of the other ingredients in the Citrus Clear. The both also have some glycerin which some people may not like but for me I prefer soap an skin care products with this in it.
