Wild salmon recipes are among some of my favorite ways to enjoy fish. I like to cook it on the stove, in the oven or my newest favorite my air fryer.

1- Wild Salmon with roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts. This one works best in either the over or air fryer. The air fryer is more convienent. I put the salmon, sliced potatoes and the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer and then drizzle with olive oil and a bit of salt and then cook for about 20-30 minutes depending upon the settings.

2- Wild Salmon with wild rice and broccoli. To make this one you can either use an air fryer or just cook the salmon and broccoli in a pan and the wild rice in a rice cooker. I like to then add some lemon to the salmon.

3- Wild salmon salad with lettuce, salmon, avocado, and any kind of nut or seed. This is a great cold lunch or a lunch on the go. Canned wild salmon works well for this one, although you can also make this wild salmon recipe with leftover salmon you have cooked yourself. Then add it to the lettuce, avocado and nuts. Drizzling on some olive or avocado oil and if you aren’t dairy free some feta cheese makes it taste even better.

4- Salmon with quinoa and broccoli or spinach- This is a variation on number 2 from above where you cook quinoa instead of wild rice and spinach instead of the broccoli.

5- Salmon with roasted potatoes and green beans. This is similar to number 1 only you use green beans instead of Brussel Sprouts. You can also do it with broccoli but broccoli can burn easily so you usually need to add it into the air fryer or oven after the wild salmon is already half cooked.

6- Wild salmon tacos- corn or grain free tortillas with salmon and mix of onions and peppers- Canned wild salmon works good with these recipe as well. In either case you cook or mix the cooked salmon in with cooked onions and peppers and serve with the tortillas. You can also add in some avocado or guacamole.
