Fall diffuser blends can help contribute to a cozy fall atmosphere and if you are like most people you associate certain smells and sights with the fall season. Here are five of my favorite fall diffuser blends to help usher in the fall season in your home, office, or work environment. Ideally you will use them in an essential oil diffuser with water but you can also try a reed diffuser, or one of the ideas in this post on how to use essential oils without a diffuser.
1- Harvest Spice- This blend contains Cassia, Clove, Eucalyptus, Cedarwood, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon Bark. You can buy the blend or you can combine 3 or more of these with 2-3 drops each to make a blend of your own. I would make sure that cassia or cinnamon bark is one of the essential oils that you use.
2- Balsam Fir and Douglas Fir- This combination is great not only for fall but also for winter. You could also include some cassia or cinnamon bark with this one.
3- Douglas Fir with Wild Orange and Peppermint- Wild orange and peppermint is one of my favorite combinations for not just the diffuser but also for applying to the skin. Adding in some Douglas Fir makes for a nice cozier and fall season ambience.
4- Spearmint, Douglas Fir and Balsam Fir- This combination adds some sweetness to the fir smell and is really nice.
5- Hygge– by it’s self or you can add in a few drops of Harvest Spice. This blend contains Wild Orange; the grounding, earthy notes of Cedarwood, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Vetiver; and the warmth of Tonka Bean and Vanilla absolute. A great blend for fall but also winter. You can also try combining 2-3 of these oils without the official blend as well.
