Do you use meal planning apps? If not you are really missing out. Meal planning apps are hands down my favorite way to plan meals and to find new recipes. I find they are also a great way to save money on food and to avoid eating out when you are tempting to do so because you don’t know what to cook for dinner.
There are new meal planning apps coming out all the time. Here are five of my favorite meal planning apps and why I love them so much.
This is hands down my favorite one. You can search from their database of hundreds of thousands if not millions of recipes and narrow your results by ingredient or ingredients. You can also select things you don’t want to be in your recipes such as sugar, gluten, meat or dairy. Then you can not only get the recipes but shopping lists and in some areas even use the app to order your groceries.
The app for your favorite local grocery store- These days pretty much all grocery stores have an app. Personally I’ve found the apps for Kroger stores and Sprouts to be among the best. You can plan out a shopping list, find coupons, get recipe ideas, place an order for delivery or pickup and more.
All Recipes App- This app lets you search for recipes by meal, ingredients and more. The best part of this app is that you can enter in the ingredients you have in your cupboard or fridge and get recipe ideas right there.
Cooklist app- This apps lets you even scan the foods you have in your pantry and get recipe ideas and create lists for ingredients you still need to purchase.
Recipe Box- Another meal planning app that also lets you meal plan but this one has a built in calendar so you can assign meals to days of the week and certain days of the month and which meal it’s for.
Did this help you? If so, I would greatly appreciate a share on Facebook, twitter, linkedin, or pinterest.
