Introduction

The beginning of a new year is always a great time for creating a bucket list. Learn about what consider some great 2024 bucket list ideas for autoimmune healing. Granted this is a bucket list, so don’t expect to actually be able to do all of these, but rather treat this as a list of ideas from which you can choose to set your goals and wish list for activities and other things to do for autoimmune healing during 2024.

2024 Bucket List Ideas

  1. Stay sugar free for the entire year. Yes, this is a big one and I’ve eaten very little sugar for a few years and recently went sugar free in the past few months and this has been big for my pain and autoimmune flareups.
  2. Do some kind of exercise for at least 15 minutes within the first hour of waking up. Ideally you will exercise more, however, I find that even if I can only do 15 minutes, it changes the outcome of my entire day.
  3. Turn off all technology at least 1 hour before bed. This really helps you sleep better.
  4. Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. More if possible. Check out this post on a sleep routine if you are struggling with this.
  5. Cook at least 90% of your meals at home. Eating out is not only more expensive but it really isn’t good for you and makes it harder to lose weight and focus on healthy eating.
  6. Prioritize your self care. Use this free 30 day self care journal template to help you track it if needed.
  7. Journal every day. I like to do it morning or night. I also find it helpful to answer journaling questions and not just write down what I did or am going to do during the day.
  8. Chose a new sport or physical activity to try.
  9. Proactively work on your emotional wellbeing.
  10. Attend at least one new concert, play or other event.
  11. Work on improving your prayer and or meditation practice.
  12. Use an infrared sauna at least 5 days per week. Obviously that is easier when you have one in your house. I have this one and love it.
  13. Choose a new hobby or skill to learn.
  14. Actively work on either making new friends or getting together with your existing friends more often.
  15. Learn more about essential oils and how they can help improve your wellbeing.
  16. Get crystal clear about what it would take for you to get into remission from your autoimmune condition if you aren’t already.
  17. Hire a health coach. I’d love to be yours if you are looking for one.
  18. Try intermitent fasting if you haven’t already.
  19. Listen to my podcast and get some tips and inspiration from my guests who have been through hard things with their autoimmune healing and overcome them.
  20. Take an honest inventory of where in your life you are out of balance and work on improving in that area.

Conclusion

Creating a 2024 bucket list for autoimmune healing is a great and fun activity that can help you to evulate where you are and where you are going and what you need to do to improve your health and thrive and not just survive with autoimmunity.
