What’s Your MLM Business Hook?

Do you have a MLM business hook?

The reality is that most MLM business owners do not. So what exactly is a hook? A hook is something that you use to capture the attention of your audience to make them want to learn more. It can also be referred to as a USP or unique selling position or an elevator pitch. In other words, a hook is a short phrase or two that grabs the attention of whoever you are sharing it with, and makes them want to listen to you and to learn more.

Your MLM business hook should be obvious to you, to anyone who visits your website and to anyone who engages in conversation with you about your business.

Here are some questions to ask yourself to help create your hook:

1. What is something that everyone who asks about your business would be interested in knowing?

2. What is something unique about my products or opportunity?

3. How can I phrase what I offer in one or two sentences so that I will grab the interest of anyone who may be looking for a home business?

4. How can I avoid jargon and hype and make it crystal clear to my target market what I am offering?

5. How can I engage my listener and make him or her want to learn more?

  1. Great point most networkers have no clue about what their USP is. This is part of the big failure in most MLM training. If you don’t tell your prospect why they need your product they probably won’t take action. And No Action = No Money.
