How to Bounce Back from a Home Party Disaster

Have you ever had a home party that was less than a success or that seemed to be a disaster? Whether no one showed up, no one bought anything or something else happened, there are always ways of bouncing back and making lemons out of lemonade.

Here are some ideas for you:

1. Contact the people who did not attend and see if they are still interested in ordering. You will be surprised at how many orders you will get.

2. Contact the people who did not attend and see if they would like to host their own party or attend a party in the future. Some people may not be interested in ever attending a party so just remove them from your invite list for the future and don’t worry about it.

3. If you did have attendees ask them for feedback about how the party could have been better. Be open to learning from them about how you could improve.

4. If someone else besides you hosted the party, ask your host for feedback. He or she may have ideas that you had not thought of.

5. Look over everything that you did in planning your party from the invitations to the date and time to the location to the people you invited, the games, presentation etc and decide what you could change next time.

In short every home party will not be a smashing success and there are ways of making what might have seemed like a disaster party a better success if you only think creatively and be determined to do your best.
