10 Things I’ve Learned About Working Online From Home

Working online from home is fun, challenges, success and failure all rolled into one. Here are ten things I have learned from the experience:

1. Managing the amount of time spent on any one site or marketing method is one of the crucial keys to making online marketing work for you. Spending all day on one site will not do you any good.

2. Certain things will work better than others and you will need to experiment. There is no magic pill and you will have to figure out what works and what does not.

3. There are certain tools such as paid domain names and hosting and an autoresponder that are crucial but other than that, you do not need a bunch of fancy systems or stuff.

4. Video is a must to build trust and credibility. People do not want to do business with a machine or someone that they do not trust. Video helps you build that trust.

5. There are unlimited distractions and you must learn to avoid them and focus, focus and then focus again.

6. You will not make tons of money overnight. You will have to work hard and be committed in order to make it work.

7. You must use a combination of methods. Focusing only on one online money making method will not generate much of an income.

8. Message boards and forums combined with blogging are two of the quickest ways to make money.

9. Developing relationships online is crucial to your work from home online success.

10. It can be very fun and profitable but it is not for everyone.
