Efusjon’s Lawsuit- What Can We Learn From It?

The MLM company Efusion is being sued by one of the most credible and reliable attorneys in the MLM profession.
You can read more about the lawsuit at Efusjon lawsuit.

It is never good news when a MLM company gets sued. Regardless of the situation, it is always bad news. However, in this case there are several good things as well as lessons that will be learned as a result of this lawsuit. Here are some of those things.

1. What really makes a good MLM opportunity? It is crucial that companies and individuals make absolutely certain that there is a viable product line in any company that you choose to join and that you can and will get customers who are not distributors. Any company that promotes only recruiting or that has a compensation plan that requires you to buy a large amount of product in order to get paid is a sign of trouble.

2. MLM companies must watch and monitor what their distributors are saying about the company and opportunity. In the 4 years I have been involved with the industry and even before that, I cannot ever remember another company that had more distributors making outrageous claims that Efusjon. They would claim that their comp plan is the best, that Efusjon was going to buy facebook and do tons of marketing for everyone there, that they had made tons of money and recruited rediculously large numbers of people in short time periods and on and on. Quite frankly I am not surprised they are being sued. It’s about time. Furthermore, as distributors we need to watch what claims and promises we make about a company. If its not true and factual and it cannot be proven to be true with everyone, then we should not say it.

3. If a MLM opportunity sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Immediate MLM wealth does not exist. That is the reality. Anyone who says it does should be ignored.

In short, I am sorry for all the Efusjon distributors who wasted their time, money and reputation on this company but honestly, if you are still holding out now, you really need to find a new home. The founders of this company made some major mistakes and I don’t believe the company can recover.
