Do you have a social media strategy?

What is your social media strategy? I know I’ve written other blog posts about this same topic but the reality is that it needs to be repeated. I meet people every day who say that social media is not working for them or that they are overwhelmed and confused by everything they need to do to make social media work for them. The reality though is that once you have set up your networks, it really is quite simple. Ty Tibble posted on his blog this week about Social Media strategy before tools.
In his post he tells you all about his social media strategy and you will see that it is quite simple. Mine is very similar to his and it quite simple as well. However, I have taken the time to set things up properly with a blog and an opt-in box to build my email list and I know who my target market is and I only connect with and add people who are in that target market.
Do you know who your target market is with social media? Are you connecting with the right people? If not, you are missing the boat and you are just wasting your time.
