10 Great Fundraising Ideas

If you are involved with any kind of non-profit group or organization then the chances are excellent that you are going to need to some new fundraising ideas at some point. Here are ten great fundraising ideas you can use to raise the kind of money you need.

1. Hold a party. This can be a large event or a small one. Make your party centered around some kind of a theme and consider also inviting a few people who have unique products to sell their wares at your party.

2. Partner with someone in direct sales to conduct a successful and profitable fundraiser. Many direct sales companies offer fundraisers and these can be some of your most successful. Even if your organization does not normally do these kinds of fundraisers, it may be worth your while to reconsider.

3. Do some research and find out from others what kinds of fundraisers have been successful with them in the past and then try one or two of them.

4. Host a carnival or fair. These can be very profitable. Offer food, games, vendor booths and other activities and sell tickets to make money.

5. Set up an online fundraiser. Ask for donations and sell products and donate a certain percentage of your profits to the group or organization.
